The handheld measures 86.4×143×20.5mm and is available in three color options: Nightfall Black, Moonlight White, and Lava Red. All physical buttons use a crystal-like transparent material and follow a clean, unmarked design layout. The control scheme includes a traditional D-pad and ABXY buttons, along with SE, ST, and AYA function keys. The diamond-cut shoulder buttons are also made from the same transparent material and are designed to support fast-paced gaming.

Ayaneo has equipped the Pocket Vert with a hidden dual-mode smart touchpad located beneath the front glass. This touchpad can act as a virtual analog stick on the left or right, support dual-stick mode, or function as a mouse. The device also includes a MagicSwitch button, which supports long-press input to open a function menu or control volume.
